Our mission
In Haiti, many of the children we take in have lived on the streets. Most of them are not yet sponsored, and several schools refused to accept them because of their difficult backgrounds. Many had never been to school, or had left school a very long time ago.
Faced with this reality, our foundation had to build a school specifically for them, to offer them a safe environment, adapted education and a new chance for their future.
Today, our greatest challenge is to keep the doors of this school open for these children. Despite our commitment, our resources remain very limited and we have great difficulty regularly paying teachers and support staff. Yet these men and women do remarkable work with children deeply scarred by the street, rejection and exclusion from school.
This project aims to ensure the annual operation of this school until each child can benefit from a sponsor capable of taking charge of their education.
Offering a school to a rejected child means giving them back their dignity, their future and their hope.
